Covonia All-In-One Chesty Cough, Cold and Flu Relief Oral Solution is a single formula that works to beat the five key cold, cough and flu symptoms. 

The product is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and celiacs and contains no sugar making it ideal for diabetics. 

 

How Covonia All-in-One Chesty Cough, Cold and Flu Relief Oral Solution works

Covonia All-in-One Chesty Cough, Cold and Flu Oral Solution contains 4 active ingredients.

Paracetamol is used in the formula to relieve pain.

 

The decongestant phenylephrine hydrochloride helps to shrink blood vessels in the nose and opens up the airway.

 

Guaifen is an expectorant that loosens phlegm and relieves chesty coughs. 

The formula also includes cetylpyridinium chloride which is an antiseptic. 

 

Directions

Always take Covonia All-in-One Chesty Cough, Cold and Flu Relief Oral Solution exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. 

Adults and children over 16 should take 20ml up to 4 times per day.

Children under 16 should take 15ml up to 4 times per day.

Leave at least 4 hours in between doses. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. 

 

Side effects

Like all medicines, Covonia All-in-One Chesty Cough, Cold and Flu Relief Oral Solution may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include: 

• Upset stomach 
• Allergic skin reactions

If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

 

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. 

 

Warnings

Covonia All-in-One Chesty Cough, Cold and Flu Relief Oral Solution may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Talk to your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist before taking this medicine if: 

 

• You have alcoholism 
• You have liver or kidney problems 
• You have heart disease 
• You have diabetes 
• You have glaucoma
• You have high blood pressure 
• You have an overactive thyroid gland 

 

This medicine can interfere with the results of a urine test.

 

Using/taking other medicines

Talk to your doctor before using this product if you are taking the following:

 

• Domperidone or metoclopramide for nausea and vomiting 
• Cholestyramine, used for high cholesterol 
• Blood clotting medicines such as warfarin
• Medicines for heart problems 
• Medicines for depression such as monoamine oxidase inhibitors

 

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Do not take this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before using any new product. 

 

Storage information

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
