What is Conceive Plus Fertility Lubricant?
Conceive Plus Fertility Lubricant is a personal lubricant that is completely safe for couples who are trying to conceive. It supports your fertility naturally, being safe for both sperm and a developing embryo. Conceive Plus was formulated by doctors with fertility in mind, is recommended by doctors and gynaecologists and sold in over 60 countries worldwide.
Is this product right for me?
If you’re trying to conceive a baby and find that you need a little extra help to get things moving in the bedroom department, Conceive Plus could be the solution you’ve been looking for. It offers all of the benefits that a personal lubricant can add to your most intimate moments while helping sperm to get to where it needs to go so you can make a baby.
How can this lubricant help me to conceive?
Conceive Plus Fertility Lubricant has a pH and electrolyte balance which mimics that of the vagina, imitating your body’s natural fluids and providing an environment that’s safe for sperm to move through freely. This lubricant also contains calcium and magnesium ions, which are essential for cell viability and the process of fertilisation, naturally supporting your fertility.
What is the difference between the Conceive Plus multi-use tube and the applicators?
Conceive Plus Lubricant is available in both a tube and in applicators, and although the lubricant itself is the same in both, the difference lies in how you use each product. For best results, you should use both products together. Start by using one of the applicators to apply lubricant into the vagina around 10 – 15 minutes before you have sex to moisturise the inner walls of the vagina. Then use the multi-use tube with your partner when you’re having sex, applying directly to the penis or vagina exactly as you would any other intimate lubricant. If you feel like you need more lubrication during sex, use the tube to apply as much or as little as you need, whenever you need it.
Do all lubricants make conception easier?
Although using lubrication can make sex easier and more enjoyable, many lubricants will not make it easier for you to conceive, and some can even make it more difficult! Some lubricants can hinder your sperm’s mobility, making it more difficult for them to reach their end goal and fertilise an egg. This is why Conceive Plus is the perfect product for those trying to conceive, as a published study has shown that this product is safe for the sperm’s survival, viability, and mobility.
Why can it be difficult for me to conceive?
The NHS states that 1 in 7 couples in the UK can struggle with fertility problems, and there are many different reasons why each couple may find it difficult to conceive. Some of the most common causes of fertility problems include:
- Physical factors, e.g. obesity, excessive exercise, anorexia nervosa, your age, your general health
- Hormonal disorders, e.g. polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid problems, problems with the pituitary gland
- Reproductive system disorders, e.g. low sperm count, blocked fallopian tubes, infections, endometriosis, ovulation failure, sperm disorders
How to use Conceive Plus Fertility Lubricant
For best results, use 10 – 15 minutes before having sex to allow the moisture of this lubricant to disperse throughout the vagina. Remove the Conceive Plus applicator from its box and hold with the narrow end of the applicator facing upwards. Twist off the tab at the end of the applicator and discard. Gently insert the end of the applicator into the vagina and squeeze 2 – 3 times to release the lubricant. While still squeezing the end, remove the applicator from the vagina and discard. Do not attempt to re-use each applicator. If you find that you need more lubrication, feel free to use the Conceive Plus multi-use tube at the same time as these applicators, or use a second applicator if required.
Can I use this lubricant with condoms?
Although Conceive Plus is the perfect lubricant to use when you’re trying to get pregnant, you may choose to use it at other times too, so it’s good to know which condoms can be used with this product. Conceive Plus is safe to use with latex and polyurethane condoms, but should not be used with synthetic polyisoprene condoms.
When should Conceive Plus not be used?
Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. Read any packaging and product information leaflets before use and use only as directed.
