Is this product right for my diet?

Complan Original is suitable for vegetarians, however, this drink contains skimmed milk powder/ milk protein, and therefore is not suitable for vegans. This Complan drink is gluten free. Although this product is suitable for vegetarian diets, and therefore will be suitable for many specialist diets, we cannot confirm that this product is suitable for Halal or Kosher diets.

Can I use this product if I’m pregnant?

If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, you should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before taking this product. Your nutritional needs during pregnancy are very complex and you should speak with a medical professional before changing your diet or nutrition at this time.

Can I use this product if I have diabetes?

If you have diabetes, you should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this product. They may wish to recommend another product or may want to assess your nutritional needs before recommending this product.

How to use this Complan drink

To make up one serving of Complan Original, you’ll first need to measure 200ml of water or milk and pour a small amount of this into a glass. Add 60g, which is the same as 4 rounded tablespoons, of Complan Original to the glass of milk or water and mix together using a fork or whisk to form a paste. Add the rest of the milk or water to the paste and stir together well. Leave to stand for 2 minutes and then enjoy this drink on its own or mixed into a meal or shake.

When should this product not be used?

Complan Original is a nutritional supplement, speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist to discuss your concerns about your diet or nutritional intake before using this product. This product if not suitable for children under the age of 15, unless specifically recommended by a doctor. This drink should not be given to children under the age of 3. Do not use Complan Original if you are allergic to milk or any of the other listed ingredients. Speak to your doctor if you’re concerned about any of your symptoms or about malnutrition.

How to store this product

Store in a cool, dry place. When this product is opened, use within 2 months of opening. Do not use this product if expiry date printed on packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
