Why should I moisturise my face?

Our skin is the first line of defence against infection. It provides a natural barrier that, if properly cared for, can prevent harmful germs, such as bacteria from entering the body. If your skin becomes dry, it can feel dry, tight and uncomfortable. Our facial skin needs to be carefully maintained in order for it so feel and look its best. Using an effective moisturiser can help to prevent deeper wrinkles and worsening of existing wrinkles. Moisturising regularly can also help to keep your skin hydrated to prevent irritants from entering the skin, which can cause redness and irritation. Dry skin can make conditions such as acne worse and can cause application of makeup to look patchy or creased. Ensuring moisturising is part of your everyday routine can ensure healthy, radient and comfortable skin.
