What is the Jungle Formula Plug-in?
The Jungle Formula 2-pin Plug-in is a type of insecticide used to keep biting bugs at bay. Rather than wearing insect repellants, this product plugs into a socket in your room and releases a long-lasting odourless vapour that contains an insecticide to kill mosquitos and other biting insects so that you can sleep restfully. This plug-in device can be used in the majority of Europe, including the UK with an appropriate adapter - perfect for travelling!
How to use
Always use this product as described in the patient information leaflet. This product should be used approximately 2 hours before retiring to bed. Firstly, remove the cap from the bottle and screw the bottle into the diffuser unit. Plug the unit into an electrical socket, this is a 2-pin style plug and can be used in many destinations, it can also be turned vertically or horizontally to fit different plug styles. To turn it on, switch the red indicator. Using it on average 8-10 hours per night, this device should last 45 days. Jungle Formula refills are available.
How does prallethrin stop insect bites?
The active ingredient in the Jungle Formula Plug-in device known as prallethrin belongs to a group of insecticides called pyrethroid which are toxic to insects. When released into the air, this toxic chemical knocks down and kills flying insects fast. Turning on the device 2 hours before retiring to bed gives time to eradicate bugs in a room and protect you from bites and potentially serious diseases caused by some insect bites.

This product is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Always supervise children when this device is in use.
Is Jungle Formula Plug-in suitable for pregnant women?
This device should not be used around pregnant women.
Warnings and precautions
- Seek immediate medical help if swallowed. DO NOT induce vomiting.
- Wash your hands and exposed skin before meals and after use
- Keep away from food, drink, and animal feed
- Wash any contamination from the skin or eyes immediately
- Do not touch the device with metal objects or wet hands whilst in operation
- The appliance has hot surfaces to evaporate the active ingredients which should not be touched during use
- Ensure the device is completely cool before packing it away

- Use of other substances may give rise to toxic fumes or risk of fire
- Do not cover the diffuser whilst in operation

Storage information
Jungle Formula Plug-in is not suitable for an air-conditioned room. Store the liquid bottle with the cap on separately from the unit. Keep out of sight and reach of children. The material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way, do not empty it into drains and avoid releasing it into the environment. This product is toxic if swallowed and is toxic to aquatic life.
