Fungal Nail Infections happen when fungi manage to get under your nail and are given the perfect conditions in which to thrive.
They’re more common in toenails than in fingernails, as sweaty socks or gym shoes make the perfect place for fungus to grow, but you can experience an infection on any nail at all.
When the infection sets in, you’ll notice that your nail becomes discoloured, normally starting at the edge of the nail and working inwards.
If the infection gets worse, your nail can become brittle and break off, or even come away entirely.
Luckily, fungal nail infections aren’t usually that serious and can be treated easily.

Nailner products treat fungal nail infections by saturating the keratin layer in your nail bed, where the fungus thrives.
This lowers the pH balance of your nail, making it harder for fungi to survive and giving your nail a chance to recover from the infection.
This also makes it more difficult for fungus to spread to your other nails, protecting them as the fungus struggles to survive beneath the original nail.
As you continue to treat your nail, the fungus will grow out, leaving healthy nail behind in its place.
You can wear nail polish over the top of some Nailner products after the treatment has dried.
However, you will need to remove any nail polish that’s left on the affected nail whenever you reapply your treatment.
