E45 Cream, Lotion, and Cleansing Emollients

However, in recent years E45 has expanded its lines to include lotions, itch relief creams, body washes, and bath emollients that help to make managing your sensitive skin that much easier.
E45 has grown from humble beginnings to a beloved skincare product that’s used in homes everywhere, soothing your dry, sensitive skin when you need it most.
E45 Cream is used to soothe and hydrate dry skin, whether this is caused by everyday dehydration or a dry skin condition.
It can be used to soothe skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis, helping to keep your skin from losing any of the much-needed moisture it creates and helping you to manage these conditions effectively.
As well as E45 cream, there’s E45 Itch Relief Cream, which not only helps to hydrate your skin, but contains an active ingredient that helps to relieve itching.
Itching is a common symptom of eczema and dermatitis, and scratching your itchy skin can make your skin more vulnerable to irritants that will only make your condition worse.

E45 creams, lotions, and bath products work as emollients.
Emollients are popular remedies for dry skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis, as they help to keep your skin feeling soft and smooth and can help to prevent flare-ups.
They do this by forming a thin protective barrier over your skin that keeps moisture from escaping and keeps irritants from getting to your skin.
If you use E45 bath or shower emollients, we recommend that you pat the skin dry with a clean, dry towel after every use, as this will help to keep that protective barrier in place, rather than rubbing it away and leaving your skin open to irritants.
E45 Cream is perfectly safe to use all over your body, including your face.
However, if you do use this cream to treat dry skin on your face, make sure that you avoid contact with your eyes.
If you do accidentally get this product into your eyes, rinse well with cool, clean water and seek medical assistance if necessary.
E45 Lotion is also completely safe to use on your face and is a lighter formula, which some people may prefer when they’re treating flare-ups on their face.
E45 Cream is safe to use on babies over the age of 1 month.
However, if you’re ever unsure whether a product is safe for your baby, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist for advice first.
You should always store E45 Cream out of sight and reach of babies and children.
The ingredients in E45 Cream are White Soft Paraffin 14.5% w/w, Light Liquid Paraffin 12.6% w/w and Anhydrous Lanolin (Medilan™) 1% w/w as active ingredients and also Empilan Glyceryl Monostearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Cetostearyl Sulphate, Carbomer, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid Monohydrate, Purified Water.
