Biotin is a water-soluble B vitamin, also called vitamin B? and formerly known as vitamin H or coenzyme R. Regaine is fine to use whilst taking this vitamin

There are many queries regarding whether Regaine or minoxidil can be used topically to grow facial hair. This question arises mainly because it is available over the counter and should therefore be safe for topical (external) use. It is also known to work well for scalp hair (improving growth in 80% of cases), so why not the facial variety like your beard?

Minoxidil is a vasodilator, a drug designed to dilate blood vessels and improve the flow of blood to certain areas of your body.

When applied topically in the form of a liquid or foam, minoxidil increases blood flow to the parts of your scalp where hair grows. By increasing blood flow, more oxygen and nutrients are able to be transported into each hair follicle, promoting growth and hair health.

As such, there’s no reason Regaine shouldn’t work for a receding hairline. The hair follicles in your hairline aren’t significantly different from the others on your scalp or crown, meaning that you should still experience the benefits of minoxidil when you apply it to your hairline.

We always offer a minimum 12 months expiry from purchase

Both of these products should work with the same efficacy however based on user feedback at Chemist4U many users think that the liquid can be quite messy and prefer the foam which is easier to apply with less mess.

This is the only product I have found to combat against the adverse effects of DHT on the hair follicles. At worst, it halts hair loss, at best, hair start to regrow within a few months of continuous usage.
