What is Cryotag Skin Tag Remover?

Cryotag Skin Tag Remover is a cryotherapy treatment that can remove skin tags in 2 weeks or less. This product comes with 12 precision applicators, perfect for treating easy-to-reach skin tags in adults in just a few seconds. If you’re looking for a quick, simple, and reliable way to remove your skin tag without having to see a doctor, Cryotag could be the perfect choice for you.

What are skin tags?

Skin tags are small, soft growths of skin, they’re completely harmless and are usually a similar colour to the skin that surrounds it. Skin tags are often mistaken for warts, but one of the main differences is that skin tags tend to hang off the skin on what looks like a stalk or stem, whereas warts look like raised, flat lumps. Warts also tend to have a rough surface, where skin tags are soft and smooth. Skin tags are common and won’t do you any harm, but many people choose to remove them as they don’t like how they look.

How does Cryotag work to remove my skin tags?

Cryotag works to remove skin tags by freezing the core of the skin tag instantly. This destroys the tissue, making your skin tag fall off within just 14 days after a single treatment. This leaves you with healthy-looking skin where your skin tag was, perfect for those who want to remove skin tags because they don’t like the way they look or feel.

Is this treatment suitable for my skin tag?

Cryotag should only be used to treat skin tags, and it’s only suitable for use in specific areas of the body. You should only use this product if the skin tag you wish to treat meets all 4 of these conditions:

  • The skin tag is on your neck, chest, underarm, back, or groin
  • The skin tag is a similar colour to the skin that surrounds it
  • The skin tag is soft and flexible, so you can move it back and forth with your finger. The tag must also be raised above your skin on a piece of skin that is similar to a stalk or stem
  • The skin tag is 2 - 6mm in size

Can I use Cryotag to remove skin tags in my genital area?

Cryotag Skin Tag Remover is not a suitable treatment for skin tags on your genital area, including your anus, penis, or vagina. This is because these places, in particular, are sensitive and difficult to see, and if you do not use the treatment properly you may cause burns or permanent scarring of your skin. We would recommend speaking to your doctor about the removal of skin tags in these areas, as they will be able to suggest a treatment that will be more suitable and safe.

Can I use this product if I’m pregnant?

Cryotag is not suitable for use when you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, as the effects this product may have on you at this time are uncertain. If you have a skin tag you want to get rid of during these times, ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend a suitable treatment for you.

How to use this product

Begin by attaching one of the precision tip applicators included to the cap of the canister, as shown in the patient information leaflet that comes with your product. Place the canister upright on a table or another sturdy, flat surface and insert the applicator into the shield on the canister using the cap. Keeping the canister upright, press the cap all the way down for 3 seconds, you’ll hear a hissing noise as you do. Remove the applicator and cap from the canister and hold with the applicator tip pointing down. Wait for 15 seconds before applying to the skin tag. Grasp the skin tag with the tweezers provided and gently pull it away from the surface of your skin. Place the tip of the applicator to the stalk of your skin tag, holding it close to the base of the skin tag but making sure to avoid contact with any of the healthy skin surrounding the tag. Hold the applicator in place for 40 seconds, do not dab. Your skin tag will usually fall off within 2 weeks, but if the first treatment does not work, you can treat the same skin tag up to 4 times. If your skin tag still has not fallen off after 4 treatments or becomes infected at any point, speak to your doctor for advice.

Cryotag is not suitable for use in children under the age of 18. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. For external use only, avoid contact with eyes, avoid inhalation, and do not eat.Do not use this product if you:

  • Are diabetic, have a weakened immune system, have poor blood circulation, or have been diagnosed with blood conditions that are affected by extreme cold
