What are Thealoz Duo Dry Eye Drops?
Thealoz Duo Dry Eye Drops are an effective treatment for dry eyes, designed to protect, hydrate and lubricate the surface of the eye. Clinical studies have shown that these eye drops improve the thickness of the tear film for at least 4 hours, 6 times longer than regular sodium hyaluronate eye drops alone. Thealoz Duo Dry Eye Drops are preservative-free and suitable for contact lens wearers.
How to use these eye drops
Use 1 drop of Thealoz Duo Dry Eye Drops in each affected eye from 4 to 6 times a day and always seal the lid tightly after use. To use eye drops effectively, tilt your head back slightly and hold the bottle upside down near to your eye without letting it touch your eye. Release a drop into your eye and close your eye for a minute or two. It may help to press gently on the side of your nose where the corner of your eye meets your nose, as this will prevent the drops from draining out through the nostril.
What causes dry eyes?
Dry eyes can cause itchiness, soreness and redness. It’s a common problem that can affect anyone, but you’re more likely to suffer from dry eyes if:

You're over the age of 50

You wear contact lenses

You look at computer screens for a long time without a break

You spend time in air conditioned or heated environments

It's windy, cold, dry or dusty

You smoke or drink alcohol

You take certain medicines (for example, some antidepressants or blood pressure medicines)

You have a medical condition such as blepharitis, Sjögren's syndrome or lupus
When should this product not be used?

Are there any side effects?
Thealoz Duo Dry Eye Drops are unlikely to cause any significant side effects, but they may cause mild eye irritation. If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Storage information
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month printed on the packaging.
