Buy Viagra online

Viagra, which is often called the little blue pill, is a treatment for erectile dysfunction or impotence that will help you to get things going when you’re enjoying some alone time with your partner. If you struggle to get or maintain an erection, Viagra could be the treatment for you, as it helps you to get hard and stay hard, so you and your partner can enjoy your most intimate moments together.

How Viagra works

Viagra contains an active ingredient called sildenafil, which is one of a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors. It relaxes the blood vessels in your penis, making it easier for your blood to flow where it needs to for you to get an erection. It only gets to work when you’re sexually stimulated, so take it around an hour before you’re planning on having sex to make sure you’re prepared to get it up and get down to business.

Directions

Take Viagra around one hour before you plan on having sex. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Some find that Viagra can take longer to work if you take it with a heavy meal, so keep this in mind if you decide to take this medication with food. It will usually work within 30 minutes to an hour, but will only help you to get an erection if you’re sexually stimulated.

What dose should I be taking?

If you’re taking Viagra for the first time, then you should ask your doctor or pharmacist to help you to choose the correct dose. The recommended starting dose is 50mg, but you can change this dose after consulting with a medical professional if you feel that you need to. Do not take more than 100mg of Viagra in a single dose, and do not take more than once a day.

Side effects

Like all medications, Viagra can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. Common side effects you may experience include:

  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Facial flushing

For a full list of possible side effects, please see the patient information leaflet included with your medication. For more information about reporting the side effects of medication, please see the MHRA’s Yellow Card Scheme.

If you experience any of the following side effects, stop use and seek immediate medical help:

  • Symptoms of an allergic reaction, e.g. sudden wheeziness, difficulty breathing, dizziness, swelling of the eyelids, face, mouth, tongue, or throat
  • Chest pains. If you experience these during or after intercourse, sit up and try to relax. Do not use medicines which contain nitrates to ease your chest pain

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the effects of Viagra last?

Viagra usually lasts for around 4 – 6 hours, with 5 being average.

With this in mind, when you’ve taken your little blue pill you can take your time and enjoy yourself for a good few hours of fun with your partner.

What causes erectile dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction, sometimes known as impotence, is a common problem amongst men and may be caused by age, being overweight, smoking, drinking too much alcohol, or having a medical condition like diabetes, high blood pressure, or cardiovascular disease.

The inability to create or maintain an erection happens when there isn’t enough blood flowing to the penis, if the penis cannot trap blood, or when the nerve signals don’t send the signal of arousal to the penis.

Diabetes can cause nerve damage in the penis, in addition to certain cancer treatments affecting its functionality.
