What are Scholl Corn Removal Plasters?

Scholl Corn Removal Plasters are a medicated treatment which helps to remove corns from your feet. They soften the tough skin that makes up your corn, helping them to loosen so your corn can be removed. This product contains 4 plasters and is ideal for those looking for immediate relief from painful or irritating corns.

What are corns?

Corns are hard disks of skin that form when your skin is subject to regular friction or pressure. They can form anywhere on the body, but commonly occur on the feet, as the skin of your feet can rub against poorly fitted shoes.

How will these plasters remove my corns?

Scholl Corn Removal Plasters contain the active ingredient salicylic acid, which is used to combat corns that form on your feet. Salicylic acid works to remove corns by softening the thick layers of skin that make up the corn, making them easier to remove over time. The medicated pads also offer protection from the friction and pressure on your skin that form corns in the first place.

Can I use these corn plasters if I’m diabetic?

Scholl Corn Removal Plasters are not suitable for those with diabetes, problems with circulation, or neuropathy. If you have painful or irritating corns, ask your doctor to recommend a treatment that will be safe for you.

Can I use this product if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Scholl Corn Removal Plasters are not suitable for use during pregnancy or while you’re breastfeeding. If you’re suffering from an irritating corn during these times, ask your doctor to recommend a more suitable treatment for you.

How to use this product

Before using Scholl Corn Removal Plasters, wash and dry your feet thoroughly. Remove the backing paper and then apply the medicated disc over the centre of your corn, pressing down gently to apply. Cover the medicated disk with the plaster. Repeat this once every day until your corn can be removed. Do not use for more than 2 weeks.

When should this product not be used?

Scholl Corn Removal Plasters are not suitable for use by those under the age of 16. Do not use Scholl Corn Removal Plasters if you are allergic to salicylic acid or any of the other listed ingredients. Do not use this product:

  • If the skin surrounding your corn in inflamed or broken
  • If your corn is on your face or genital area
  • To cover large areas of skin
  • On a mole or birthmark

Do Scholl Corn Removal Plasters have any side effects?

Like all medications, Scholl Corn Removal plasters can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. This includes a rash or skin irritation if you apply this product to the healthy skin around your corn. If you experience these or any other side effects while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or pharmacist if irritation persists.
