What are Numark Antiseptic Wipes?
Numark Antiseptic Wipes are used to clean hands, minor wounds and cuts to protect you against dirt and harmful germs. These quick-drying wipes are easy to use and contain soothing aloe vera extracts to relieve pain.
How to use this product
Wash your hands before use. Remove the wipe from the sachet. Gently clean the wound or cut by starting at the centre and working your way outwards to remove dirt and harmful germs. Let the wound air dry for a minute, or gently pat dry with a clean piece of gauze. If necessary, apply a plaster or dressing to protect the wound.
When should antiseptic wipes be used?
Antiseptic wipes are used to clean hands, minor wounds and cuts from dirt and germs. The ingredients help protect the skin against infection caused by germs and bacteria. Antiseptics work by weakening the growth of bacteria, not to be confused with an antibiotic, which works by killing bacteria.
What’s the difference between antiseptic and antibacterial?
The two sound similar, but they’re quite different. Antibacterial products can effectively kill or slow down the growth of bacteria, but not viruses. Whereas antiseptics can prevent viruses, bacteria and fungi from growing.
When should this product not be used?
Numark Antiseptic Wipes may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use these wipes on young children or babies without consulting your GP or Chemist4U pharmacist first. These wipes may cause irritation to sensitive skin. Stop using the wipes if irritation occurs. For use on adult skin. External use only. Not for intimate use.
