SMA Anti Reflux Baby Milk Formula From Birth is a nutritionally dense formula that is designed to manage the dietary requirements of babies with reflux.
The formula can be used as the sole source of nutrition for your little one in place of usual formula. It can also be mixed with food when you begin weaning your baby.
The thickened formula has added starch that is designed to help feeds stay down. It is easy to digest with 100% whey and partially hydrolysed protein.
The thicker formula requires a fast flow teat.
Directions
Before preparing the formula, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Boil 1 litre of fresh tap water and allow to cool for no longer than 30 minutes. Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle. Place the sterilised fast-flow teat and cap on the bottle and cool the bottle under cold running water until it is lukewarm. Do not immerse the teat.
Using only the scoop provided, add the correct number of scoops to the powder.
Level off each scoop with the back of a dry, clean knife.
It is recommended that you prepare each feed in individual bottles when required.
Feeding guide:
Newborn - 2 weeks: 3 scoops in 90ml of water
2-8 weeks: 4 scoops in 120ml of water
2 months: 5 scoops in 150ml of water
3-4 months: 6 scoops in 180ml of water
6 months: 8 scoops in 240ml of water
7-12 months: 7 scoops in 210ml of water

Warnings
If your child experiences an allergic reaction after consuming this product, discontinue use and speak to your GP or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice.
Do not add extra powder to water to make feeds stronger.
Do not use other feed thickeners or antacids.
Do not alter or add to the formula unless you have been medically directed to do so.
Do not warm feeds in the microwave.
Age restrictions
This product is recommended for newborn babies up to 12 months old.
Storage information
Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
Use the powder within 4 weeks of opening.
