What is soluble paracetamol?

Soluble paracetamol is a quick and easy-to-take painkiller that can be used to relieve many different aches and pains. This medicine contains 500mg of paracetamol, the ideal solution if you’re looking to ease everyday ailments such as headaches, period pain and toothache. If you need pain relief but struggle to swallow tablets, soluble paracetamol can help.

What is the recommended dosage?

Always take soluble paracetamol exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. For adults and children over the age of 16, dissolve 1–2 soluble paracetamol in a glass of water and drink every 4–6 hours as and when needed. For children between the ages of 12–15, dissolve one soluble paracetamol in a glass of water and drink every 4–6 hours as and when needed. Do not take more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period.

How does soluble paracetamol relieve pain?
