What is Oral-B 3D White Luxe Floss?

Oral-B 3D White Luxe Floss is a dental floss that helps to remove plaque while gently whitening your teeth. This mint flavoured floss is perfect for cleaning between your teeth and along the gumline, breaking up plaque and keeping your teeth and gums clean.

Why do I need to floss my teeth?

Flossing your teeth is important as it helps you to clean all of the hard to reach places that regular brushing will miss, cleaning out plaque and debris. Even the most advanced toothbrush can’t reach between the teeth and into nooks and crannies along the gumline in the same way that floss can, which is why flossing is an essential part of your daily dental care routine.

What is dental plaque

Dental plaque is the sticky, colourless substance that builds up on your teeth throughout the day. Plaque is made up of bacteria, and when it’s given the right conditions plaque can damage your teeth. This can cause tooth decay, gum diseases, and other problems, but plaque can be easily cleaned away with a thorough, regular dental care routine.

How will Oral-B 3D White Luxe Floss help to clean between my teeth?

Oral-B 3D White Luxe Floss slides between your teeth easily, reaching into hard to reach places easily and cleaning out plaque and debris. It’s got a shred resistant texture which helps to prevent this floss from snapping as you use it. Its whitening formula helps to remove surface stains from your teeth, keeping your teeth looking cleaner and whiter.

How to use this dental floss

Break off a piece of Oral-B 3D White Luxe Floss and keep a small part of it taught between your fingers. Gently wrap the floss around your tooth to form a c-shape and slide over the tooth to clean away plaque and debris from between the teeth and along the gumline, then move onto the next tooth until you’ve cleaned all your teeth.

Will my gums bleed if I floss my teeth?

When you first start to floss your teeth, your gums may bleed a little as you floss. This is nothing to worry about, and as your gums become stronger and healthier as you continue to take care of them over time, this bleeding will normally stop happening.
