What is Olbas Oil Inhalant Decongestant?
Olbas Oil Inhalant Decongestant is a combination of various natural oils that provide a treatment that works to relieve symptoms for several conditions, these include:
- Nasal congestion
- Hayfever and allergies
Primarily used in water as an inhalant, this oil can also be applied to the skin to help treat minor muscle aches and pains.
What causes the nose to become blocked, stuffy, or runny?
Symptoms in the nose are some of the most common symptoms around. This is primarily down to the fact that germs and bacteria in the air can enter the nose easier than most other places. This causes congestion, irritation, and an increase in mucus production.
Who is this oil suitable for?
Olbas is suitable to be used on tissues and handkerchiefs by adults and children aged 3 months and older, as a hot water additive by children aged 2 and over and adults, and on the skin to help muscle pain by adults and children aged 12 and over. Anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in the oil should not use it. If you are using any other medication for nasal congestion or muscle pains, speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using.
Can someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding use this oil?
It is recommended that any non-essential medication is not used unless it is necessary. Therefore, you should speak to a medical professional before using if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
