What is nasal congestion?

Nasal congestion causes your nose to feel stuffy or blocked. It is caused when the nasal passages become swollen and inflamed. When you’re experiencing nasal congestion you may find that it is a little more difficult to breathe through your nose than normal and that it is difficult to remove mucus from the nose. This congestion can cause increased pressure that can lead to headaches. Nasal congestion can be caused by viruses like cold and flu or allergies. If your nasal congestion is caused by cold or flu it should clear up within a couple of weeks and isn’t usually a cause for concern.

How can Nurofen Sinus and Blocked Nose help to relieve congestion?

Nurofen Sinus and Blocked Nose contains two active ingredients:

  • Ibuprofen

  • Aches and pains
  • Sore throats
  • Headache
  • Swelling
  • Fever

Phenylephrine hydrochloride is a nasal decongestant that reduces swelling in the passages of the nose. This can help to relieve nasal congestion and pressure which may cause a headache.
