How should micropore surgical tape be used?
Micropore surgical tape is used to hold dressings in place. It can also be applied directly to minor cuts and wounds to offer light protection against dirt and bacteria.
If used to hold dressing in place, clean wound before applying dressing. Secure the dressing with the surgical tape.
If used without dressing, ensure cut or wound is clean and dry before applying the tape.
When should micropore surgical tape be used?
Micropore surgical tape is suitable for securing and holding dressings in place. Micropore surgical tape is ideal for securing dressings such as crepe bandage or sterile dressings.
When should micropore surgical tape not be used?
Micropore surgical tape should not be used as a primary dressing.
