Nexcare ColdHot Packs are gel packs that can be heated or frozen to provide soothing relief to painful muscles or joints. These reusable packs can be used hot or cold so you can use them in the best possible way to ease your painful muscles.

Why would I need a hot and cold pack?

Hot and cold packs can both be used to treat muscle and joint pain, but they can both be used to different advantages. Heat packs help to promote blood flow in the affected area, bringing oxygen and nutrients to the area, helping to aid the healing process while easing stiff joints and muscles. Cold packs do the opposite, reducing blood flow to help to reduce swelling and inflammation. Nexcare ColdHot Packs can be used both ways, so you can heat it up to loosen tight and stiff muscles and joints or freeze it to relieve swollen or bruised areas.


How to use Nexcare ColdHot Packs

When using a heated Nexcare ColdHot Pack, warm it up and place into the protective cover provided before placing it onto the affected area using the elasticated strap. The heated pack will usually need reheating after around 30 minutes. When using a frozen Nexcare ColdHot Pack, place inside the protective cover and apply to swollen or painful area using the elasticated trap. Apply for a maximum of 20 minutes and then remove for another 20 minutes, repeat this process as much as needed.


When should Nexcare ColdHot Packs not be used?

Do not place the Nexcare ColdHot Pack directly onto skin without using the protective cover. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the listed components. Not suitable for use on infants or those who would not be able to remove the pack by themselves. If you experience any pain or irritation while using this product, stop use right away. If irritation continues, speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist immediately.
