What is My Expert Midwife Sick of it! Spritz?

Don’t let morning sickness take the joy out of your pregnancy, because My Expert Midwife Sick of it! Spritz can help. This midwife developed, fragrant and soothing spritz of peppermint, lemon and grapefruit will become an essential part of your pregnancy morning sickness routine.

Containing 97% naturally derived ingredients including peppermint and lemon which are known to be effective, natural remedies for relieving nausea, while grapefruit can help to reduce fatigue.

This spritz uses aromatherapy to stimulate smell receptors in the nose, which send messages through the nervous system to the limbic system — the part of the brain that controls emotions. Aromatherapy is most effective when applied to your pulse points (wrists and temples) as this is where the blood flow is closest to your skin.

How to use this product

Spray onto skin, pulse points, a tissue, bedding or into the air as often as required. As nausea is very individual to each woman and each pregnancy, it may take a while to discover which method works best for you. You should contact your midwife, maternity team or your GP for further advice if you are unable to tolerate food and fluids for a prolonged period.
