What is prickly heat or heat rash?
Prickly heat, also known as heat rash, is a rash that is caused by excessive sweating. When you sweat, your heat glands become blocked and sweat trapped within them is what causes heat rash. Heat rash is common in babies as they are less capable of controlling their temperature than children and adults.
How does Magicool Plus Prickly Heat Spray relieve prickly heat?
Magicool Plus Prickly Heat Spray tackles prickly heat in five different ways, which all combine to provide relief:
- Thermal – cooling properties suppress histamine response and soothe the skin.
- Mechanical – produces kinetic pulses similar to TENS, which is a pain relief method.
- Chemical – Adjusts the pH levels of the skin and uses calming agents.
- Hydration – Uses hydrotherapy for deep cell hydration.
- Cleansing – Cleanses lesions while applying gentle pressure to remove dead skin and debris.
How to use Magicool Plus Prickly Heat Spray.
Hold can of Magicool Plus Prickly Heat Spray at a distance of around 10cm or 4 inches away from the skin. Spray liberally onto affected area whenever skin begins to feel itchy or flares up until area calms down or the itching stops. Leave untouched to dry. For children and infants who cannot express their need to scratch, spray the affected area three or four times a day.
When should Magicool Plus Prickly Heat Spray not be used?
Avoid spraying Magicool Plus Prickly Heat Spray in your eyes. Do not use Magicool Plus Prickly Heat Spray if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.
