What is Lyclear Creme Rinse?

Lyclear Creme Rinse is a treatment for head lice and nits, working to kill the lice and get rid of their eggs. It works in just 10 minutes and the provided comb can help you to be sure that the head lice and nits are gone from your hair for good.

What are nits and head lice?

Head lice are tiny insects that live on the hair and scalp. This is where they lay their eggs, which are also known as nits. Head lice and nits are very common in young children, as they are picked up through head-to-head contact which can happen when children play. They can make your head feel itchy and like something is moving in your hair.

How does Lyclear Creme Rinse get rid of head lice and nits?

Lyclear Creme Rinse contains the active ingredient Permethrin, which works as an insecticide. This means it kills insects, meaning that it will kill head lice and their eggs instantly, leaving your hair free and clear of lice.

How to use this product.

To begin, shampoo the hair with a mild shampoo, making sure that you do not use a combined shampoo-conditioner or a medicated shampoo. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry the hair so it is still damp.

Shake the bottle of Lyclear Creme Rinse and then apply enough rinse to cover the entire hair, roots, and scalp, making sure to cover the areas behind the ears and around the nape of the neck. Leave for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with water.

While the hair is still wet, use the comb provided to comb through the hair in sections, working to remove lice and eggs. If necessary, you can repeat treatment after 7 days.

When should Lyclear Creme Rinse not be used?

Lyclear Creme Rinse is not suitable for use in children under the age of 6 months. Always supervise children who are using this product. If you have asthma, speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using Lyclear Creme Rinse. Do not use this product if you are allergic to methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, or any of the other listed ingredients.
