Listerine Gum Treatment Mouthwash is a daily mouthwash that helps to treat and prevent gum disease or gingivitis. It protects your teeth and gums from bacteria, and the crisp mint flavour helps to keep your breath fresh.
What is gum disease (gingivitis)?
The early stage of gum disease is known as gingivitis, and it’s a common condition that most people suffer with at one point in their lives. When you have gingivitis, you may notice that your gums bleed when you brush your teeth and that you have bad breath. When properly treated, gingivitis is easily cured, but when left alone without treatment it can develop into a more serious condition which can result in you losing your teeth.
How will this mouthwash help to treat gum disease?
Listerine Gum Treatment Mouthwash contains the active ingredient Ethyl Laurol Arginate. This ingredient forms a coating over your gums, protecting them from bacteria and plaque that cause gingivitis and gum disease.
How to use Listerine Gum Treatment Mouthwash
Pour out 15ml of Listerine Gum Treatment Mouthwash and use to rinse your mouth for 60 seconds before spitting out. For best results, use twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening after brushing your teeth.
When should Listerine Gum Treatment Mouthwash not be used?
Listerine Gum Treatment Mouthwash is not suitable for use by children under the age of 16. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. If your experience any discomfort or irritation while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist right away. Do not swallow this mouthwash, avoid contact with eyes and ears.
