What is Kool 'N' Soothe Ice-Eeze Pack For Adults?

This Kool 'N' Soothe Ice-Eeze Pack is a cooling pack that is designed to help provide relief for people who are suffering from muscle pain as well as sprains and strains. It can also be used on insect bites. This pack does not require refrigeration and works by squeezing the pack to release the activating sachet that cools the pack. Because the pack is sealed, there is no mess.

What causes pain in the muscles and joints?

Pain in the muscles and joints can often be attributed to tension, stress, or overuse. Muscles become inflamed when they cause pain and swelling. This may make the muscle feel tender when touched. Overexercising is a common cause of muscle pain. Having a cold or flu can also cause muscle pain. If you feel muscle pain all around the body, then that may be a sign of a more serious condition. Joint pain is caused by an injury or because of arthritis. Joint pain that gets worse over time is likely to be because of osteoporosis.

How does Kool ‘N’ Soothe help to relieve pain?

Kool ‘N’ Soothe does what it says it does. When applying to an affected area, this ice pack will cool it. Cooling any strain, sprain, bruise, or bite will help to stop blood flowing to it. Stopping blood flow will help to relieve the pain.

Who are these cooling packs suitable for?

These cooling packs are suitable to be used by adults and children aged 13 and over. Do not use any of the following:

  • Anywhere with nerve damage
  • Anywhere where you cannot feel cold
  • Any area where you have used any skin creams or lotions

How should Kool 'N' Soothe Ice-Eeze Packs be used?

Apply the pack to the affected area. It is recommended that you wrap it in a towel if applying directly to the skin. Apply the pack as soon as possible after injury for 20-30 minutes and reapply a pack every 2-3 hours as necessary. Do this for up to 48 hours. Allow the skin to return to normal temperature before using another pack. Do not refrigerate the packs and reuse them. Also, do not apply excessive pressure by sitting, lying, or sleeping with the pack on as this could cause the pack to burst.

Do not use for long periods as this could cause frostbite.

If using these packs do not improve the pain after 7 days, then speak to a doctor as the pain could be caused by a more serious condition.

Directions for use:
There is a liquid sachet contained within the cooling pack
Locate inner liquid sachet and squeeze firmly to rupture
Shake to mix contents until cold
For strains/ sprains/ bumps/ bruises/ muscular back pain ideally apply within 5 minutes of injury for 20-30 minutes and repeat as required with a fresh pack every 2-3 hours whilst awake for the next 24-48 hours
Allow skin to return to normal temperature between treatments
Product contents: Ammonium Nitrate & Water
