What is Hedrin Treat & Go Lotion?

Hedrin Treat & Go Lotion is a treatment for head lice that makes it easy to remove them. The formulation is a light lotion that does not stick to the hair and leaves a greasy feeling. It also has no nasty smell and doesn’t trigger asthma. The lotion is easy to apply and to wash out.

What causes head lice?

Head lice spread by direct contact, which is why they are most common in children, as they often have close contact with each other. Head lice can also be spread by certain items, which includes:

  • Hats
  • Scarves
  • Combs
  • Brushes
  • Headphones
  • Pillows
  • Towels
  • Some upholstery

Poor hygiene does not increase the risk of head lice.

Who is this Hedrin lotion suitable for?

This Hedrin lotion is suitable to be used by adults and children aged 6 months and older. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients that are contained in the lotion.

Can someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding use this lotion?

There is no reason as to why anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding cannot use this lotion. However, it is recommended that anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding consults a medical professional for advice before using any treatment.

How should Hedrin Treat & Go Lotion be used?

Apply the lotion straight onto dry hair. Rub or comb the lotion into the hair until all of the hair has been covered. Allow the hair to dry completely, either naturally or by using a hairdryer. Leave the lotion on for 8 hours, or on overnight. Rinse out the lotion after this time, and with the shampoo, you will find that lice and the lotion come out easily. 7 days after the first application, apply it again.

Are there any side effects?

Any side effect of using this lotion is most likely to be caused by an allergic reaction. If you notice a side effect, stop using the lotion and speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist as soon as possible.
