What is Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm?
Eucerin Aquaphor is a skin balm that helps to hydrate the skin that has become dry, irritated, and damaged. As well as hydrating the skin, Eucerin Aquaphor will regenerate the dry and damaged, skin in order to get the skin back to being moisturised and smooth.
How does it work?
This skin balm works by creating an ideal environment for the skin. It creates a semi-permeable barrier over the skin. This allows the skin to return to its natural state by keeping moisture within the skin and prevent it from drying out. The active ingredients, panthenol and bisabolol, both help support the skin in rehydrating. Another ingredient, glycerin, helps form the protective barrier.
Who is Eucerin Aquaphor suitable for?
This Eucerin skin balm is suitable to be used by adults, children, and babies. It is not suitable for anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in the skin balm. These are:
- Paraffinum Liquidum
- Cera Microcristallina
- Ceresin
- Lanolin Alcohol
- Panthenol
- Glycerin
- Bisabolol
Can this skin balm be used by someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding?
There is no evidence of any adverse effects when using this balm when pregnant or breastfeeding. However, it is recommended that you speak to your doctor before using.
Can Eucerin be used when using other types of medication?
There may be benefits to using some creams for eczema when using this balm, as the balm helps the skin keep moisture and a cream to treat a condition may see improved results. Despite this, you should consult a doctor before using as there may be problems with using medication and not any benefits.
How do I use Eucerin Aquaphor Skin Balm?
To use this skin balm, apply it to the skin when necessary as many times a day as you like. There is no recommended number of times a day to use it.
Are there any side effects?
A side effect will most likely be as a result of an allergic reaction. If you notice an allergic reaction, contact your doctor as soon as possible.
