What is Eucerin Anti-Redness Concealing Day Cream?
Eucerin Anti-Redness Concealing Day Cream is a soothing cream designed for hypersensitive skin that’s prone to redness. It helps to conceal redness, so your skin tone looks instantly more even, as the active ingredients soothe and protect your sensitive skin. This long-lasting day cream offers SPF25 protection and is free from parabens, paraffin, fragrance, and alcohol.
Why do I have redness in my skin?
If you have permanent redness in your face, then you may be suffering with rosacea, a long-term skin condition which can make your skin look flushed and feel uncomfortable. Although we don’t currently know the cause of rosacea, there are some triggers which can make the condition worse, including:
- Sunlight
- Stress
- Strenuous exercise
- Hot or cold weather
- Drinking hot drinks
- Drinking alcohol
- Certain foods and drinks e.g. spicy foods, dairy products, caffeinated drinks
How will Eucerin Day Cream help to reduce redness in my skin?
Eucerin Day Cream contains an innovative ingredient called SymSitive, which helps to calm your sensitive skin and increase its tolerance to irritants. It also contains Locochalcone A, a natural ingredient which works as an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant, reducing the redness in your skin as it soothes your irritation. The green pigments in this day cream help to neutralise redness in your skin, camouflaging red pigments so your skin tone looks more even right away.
How to use this day cream?
Apply Eucerin Anti-Redness Concealing Day Cream all over your face in the morning, after you’ve cleansed your skin. Gently massage the cream into the skin, using more cream on areas which are visibly red, if they need it.
Can I wear makeup over this day cream?
You can wear makeup over this day cream without any problems. However, try to make sure to check that your makeup us hypoallergenic, so that it won’t aggravate your skin condition.
Which skin types can use this product?
This day cream is perfect for those with hypersensitive or rosacea-prone skin. If your skin isn’t hypersensitive or you don’t suffer from redness, you may find that another Eucerin product will be more suitable for your skin.

I've tried e45 , rosacea cream and all sorts for red patches on my face which cream would you recommend?
Rosacea is a common but poorly understood long-term skin condition that mainly affects the face.
It can be controlled to some degree with long-term treatment, but sometimes the changes in physical appearance can have a significant psychological impact.
There's currently no cure for rosacea, but treatment can help control the symptoms.
Long-term treatment is usually necessary, although there may be periods when your symptoms improve and you can stop treatment temporarily.
For most people, treatment involves a combination of self-help measures and medication, such as:
- avoiding known triggers – for example, avoiding drinks containing alcohol or caffeine
- creams and gels – medications applied directly to the skin to reduce spots and redness
- oral medications – tablets or capsules that can help clear up more severe spots, such as oral antibiotics
