What is the correct way to wash your hands?
Washing your hands regularly is the easiest and one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and others from contagious illnesses such as colds, flu and food poisoning. You should wash your hands for around 20 seconds which equates to the time it takes to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ twice. Follow these steps to ensure you wash the entire surface of your hands:

Wet your hands with water

Apply enough soap to cover your hands

Rub your hands together

Place hands one on top of the other and use the top hand to clean the back of your other hand and clean in between fingers - repeat with the other hand

Rub your hands together and clean in between your fingers

Rub the back of your fingers against your palms

Rub your thumb using your other hand - repeat with the other thumb

Rub the tips of your fingers on the palm of your other hand - repeat with the other hand

Rinse your hands with water

Dry your hands completely with a disposable towel

Use the disposable towel to turn off the tap

Ensure your nails and thumbs are cleansed with the soap. Rinse well with water before drying your hands thoroughly. Do NOT refill the bottle without rinsing first.
When NOT to use this product
Do NOT use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients (see ingredients tab for full list). Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water and if irritation persists, seek medical attention. This product is for external use only and should be kept out of reach of children unless under adult supervision.
