What is Dentemp Reline It?
Dentemp Reline It is a denture relining kit which gives you a temporary, at-home solution for loose fitting dentures. If your loose dentures are driving you crazy, Reline It can make them feel like new, so you’ll be more comfortable and feel like your dentures are snug and secure.
Why do dentures become loose?
Dentures can become loose over time, as your gums and jawbone can eventually shrink as you wear your dentures every day. This is common and your dentures can be easily refitted by your dentist, but some people choose to use a denture relining kit until your denture can be fitted properly.
How will Dentemp Reline It help to make my dentures feel like new?
Dentemp Reline It covers the surface of your dentures with a temporary lining, helping them to fit more snugly to your gums and jawbone. The lining is comfortable and each application can be used for one week before it will need to be replaced or relined.
How to use this product
Before using this product, clean and dry your dentures thoroughly. Place a packet of Reline It powder and a packet of Reline It liquid into a freezer for 3 minutes and then mix together in the mixing cup, following the instructions included with the product carefully. Let the mixture set for 30 seconds and then mix thoroughly again. Then spread all of the mixture over the denture and let it set for 3 minutes. Make sure that your gums and palate are moist and then place the denture into your mouth and bite down, holding the denture in the biting position for 6 minutes. Remove the denture from your mouth and then rinse with cold water. Trim off any excess material that’s overlapped your denture using the spatula included. Place the denture in hot water and let it set for 20 minutes, then add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to a cup of warm water and soak the denture for a further 10 minutes, this will remove any unpleasant after taste. Rinse the water again, trim any remaining excess from the denture, and then place the denture back in the mouth.
When should this product not be used?
Do not use Dentemp Reline It if you’re allergic to methacrylate. This is a temporary treatment, do not use this product for more than 30 days without seeing a dentist for a proper solution. If you experience any discomfort or irritation while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor, dentist, or Chemist 4 U pharmacist if necessary. Do not use this product on flexible dentures or Valplast dentures. Do not inhale the vapour from this product, always use in a well-ventilated room.
How to store this product
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use this product if the expiry date printed on the original packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children. This product is flammable, keep away from heat, open flames, or other sources of ignition.
