This Colgate toothpaste is designed for babies and infants who are currently teething. It contains a low amount of fluoride to aid with cleaning and has a mint flavour that delivers a fresh smell to the mouth.
It is suitable for babies and infants who are teething and need protection from cavities and plaque. It should not be used if the child is allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients contained in the toothpaste. These are:
It is not recommended for anyone over the age of 3 because the formula is specifically designed for younger children that are currently experiencing teething. For children older than 3, use another specially formulated toothpaste designed for that age group.
For anyone using medication, it is recommended that they speak to a doctor before using this toothpaste. This is because there is a chance that the ingredients in the medication and toothpaste interfere with each other.
For children aged 0-1 years, use a small smear of toothpaste and brush once a day. For children aged 1-3, use an amount similar sized to a pea and brush twice a day for the best results.
Any side effects will be as a result of an allergic reaction. If you do notice a side effect, then contact your doctor as soon as possible.
