What are Clinitas Multi 0.2% Dry Eye Relief Drops?

Clinitas Multi 0.2% Dry Eye Relief Drops contain a preservative-free solution of sodium hyaluronate to lubricate, moisturise and stabilise the tear film for the relief of mild to moderate eye discomfort including dryness, irritation, visual stress or burning.

How to use these eye drops

Clinitas Multi 0.2% Dry Eye Relief Drops comes in an easy-to-use bottle with a dropper mechanism that releases a single dose of the solution when turned upside down and squeezed gently. The recommended dosage is 1 drop in each eye, once per day or more if necessary. It’s safe to use the drops as often as required.

To use the drops, tilt your head back slightly and hold the bottle upside down near to your eye without letting it touch your eye. Gently squeeze the bottle to release the drop into your eye and close your eye for a minute or two. It may help to press gently on the side of your nose where the corner of your eye meets your nose, as this will prevent the drops from draining out through the nostril.

How does sodium hyaluronate relieve dry eyes?

Sodium hyaluronate eye drops relieve the discomfort of dry eyes by acting as ‘artificial tears’. The ingredient is a lubricant for the surface of your eye, helping to provide moisture with a soothing effect that makes the eyes feel more comfortable.

What causes dry eyes?

Dry eyes are a common problem that can affect anyone and it usually isn’t anything to worry about. They can cause itchiness and soreness, making your eyes feel gritty and sensitive to light. Dry eyes can also cause redness and slightly blurred vision. You might be more likely to get dry eyes if:

  • You’re over the age of 50

  • You wear contact lenses

  • You look at computer screens for long periods without a break

  • You spend time in air-conditioned or heated environments

  • It’s windy, cold, dry or dusty

  • You smoke or drink alcohol

  • You take certain medicines

  • You have a condition such as blepharitis, Sjögren's syndrome or lupus

Simple solutions such as keeping your eyes clean, using a humidifier and resting your eyes regularly can prevent dry eyes. If the problem persists, treatments like Clinitas Multi 0.2% Dry Eye Relief Drops can provide fast, long-lasting relief.

Can I use these eye drops with contact lenses?

Clinitas Multi 0.2% Dry Eye Relief Drops can usually be used with contact lenses. However, it is important to let your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist know if you wear soft contact lenses before using these eye drops.

When should this product not be used?
