Chlamydia

Chlamydia is one of the most common STIs in the UK, but as many people find talking about sexually transmitted infections difficult, you may not realise it. In fact, many patients may not even realise they have it, as they don’t notice any symptoms. The most common symptoms of chlamydia include pain when you pee, discharge from your genitals, and pain in your stomach or testicles.

If you think you may have chlamydia it’s important to get treated properly and as quickly as possible. However, you may find it difficult to talk to a medical professional face to face, which is why we offer a discreet, online solution. Complete a consultation with our team of qualified prescribers at a time that is convenient for you, and we’ll send any medications you may be prescribed to your address in discreet packaging.

How do chlamydia treatments work?

Chlamydia is an infection, which means it needs to be treated with a course of antibiotics.

Depending on the medications you’re prescribed, your treatment will last for 3 - 7 days, clearing your condition quickly.

You shouldn’t have sex or oral sex until your treatment is finished and you’ve been given the all-clear, but thankfully, this usually doesn’t take long.

We recommend that you and any sexual partners you’ve had are tested for chlamydia and treated, if necessary.

Your local sexual health or GUM clinic can help you to contact your sexual partners confidentially if that will make the process easier.

If you choose to get your treatment from us, you can complete your consultation at any time and we’ll send out any treatments in discreet packaging, ensuring that your condition is your business and yours alone.
