Cradle cap is a harmless skin condition that causes babies to have patches of greasy and yellow crusts on their heads.
It can also affect other parts of the body, like the eyebrows, nose and nappy area.
To get rid of cradle cap, wash your baby’s hair regularly with mild, unperfumed baby shampoo and gently loosen the flakes with a soft brush.
You can also rub baby oil or vegetable oil to help soften the crusts, or leave petroleum jelly on overnight before washing their hair in the morning.
