Hedrin 4% Lotion Spray is a fast and effective treatment for getting rid of unwanted head lice infestations. It is a treatment that is clinically proven to remove head lice in a few simple steps.

The skin-friendly lotion spray is designed to kill lice without damaging the scalp.

The spray bottle makes eradicating lice nice and simple.

How Hedrin 4% Lotion Spray works

The lotion is formulated with the active ingredient dimeticone which covers the lice and drowns them. It prevents the lice from moving.

Directions

Always use Hedrin 4% Lotion Spray exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. 

Hold the spray 10cm from the head and spray on to dry hair. Ensure that the scalp is completely covered. 

Once you have applied the product you should work it through the rest of your hair using a comb. Allow the hair to dry naturally and leave it in for 8 hours. Rinse the product out after you have left it in your hair for the set amount of time.

Side effects

Hedrin 4% Lotion Spray may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. The most common side effect is skin irritation. 

If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. 

Warnings

Hedrin 4% Lotion Spray may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

This product is flammable. Do not go near naked flames or other ignition sources when using it.

Be careful when you are using this product as it can stain fabrics. 

Age restrictions 

This product is not suitable for children under 2 years old.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before using any new products. 

Storage information

Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
