Avomine Travel Sickness tablets are used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness. They are perfect if you are going on long journeys or short. 

 

How Avomine Travel Sickness works

Avomine Travel Sickness tablets are an antiemetic (anti-sickness) drug which helps to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting. 

 

Directions

Always take these tablets exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. 

 

Adults:For the prevention of travel sickness on long journeys, take 1 tablet the night before you travel.On short journeys take 1 tablet 1-2 hours before travelling.For the treatment of motion sickness, take 1 tablet as soon as possible. 

Children should have half of the adult dose.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Avomine Travel Sickness tablets may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include: 

 

  • Headaches and dizziness
  • Feeling tired or sleepy
  • Loss of appetite

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. 

 

Warnings

Avomine may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take these tablets if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have any of the following:

 

  • Have taken medicines for depression, known as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) within the last 14 days. 
  • CNS Depression.

 

Talk to your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have any of the following: 

 

  • Glaucoma 
  • Epilepsy
  • Heart problems 
  • Liver problems 
  • Kidney or bladder problems 
  • A chest condition such as asthma or bronchitis

 

Using/taking other medicines

You should speak to your GP or pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medications:

 

  • Anticholinergic agents
  • Medicines to help you sleep (hypnotics)
  • Medicines for depression, mental illness or anxiety 

Age restrictions 

This product is not suitable for children under 2.

 

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine. 

 

Alcohol

While taking Avomine, you should avoid drinking alcohol. 

 

Driving and operating machinery 

These tablets can make you feel dizzy, sleepy, disorientated or confused. You should not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how this medicine affects you. 

Storage information

Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.

I have tried all other travel sickness tablets available at the pharmacies and they don’t work, (for me), Avomine is the best one I’ve tried for sea sickness, it works!

Avomine are great anti Sickness tablets, they work really well for me, when I am feeling a bit Nauseous, due to a very Nervous Stomach.
