Care Potassium Citrate Mixture is used to relieve the irritation caused by cystitis and other mild urinary tract infections. It’s a simple remedy that can be taken by mouth and is suitable for the whole family.

 

How does Care Potassium Citrate Mixture work?

Care Potassium Citrate Mixture uses the active ingredient potassium citrate, which makes your urine less acidic. This means that you will experience less irritation when you urinate, providing relief to those experiencing cystitis or urinary tract infections.

 

How to use Care Potassium Citrate Mixture.

If you are an adult, elderly, or are giving Care Potassium Citrate Mixture to a child aged six or over, take two 5ml spoonfuls and dilute them with water. Take this solution by mouth three times a day, after meals. If you are giving Care Potassium Citrate Mixture to children between the ages of one and six, use one 5ml spoonful diluted with water.

This product was in use for many years for a specific complaint but high street pharmacies no longer stock it. It was useful to find that Chemist 2U stock this product as well as others which are not available at high street pharmacies
