What happens when you get an insect bite or sting?
If you’ve been bitten or stung by an insect you will normally notice a small red lump forms in the area. These lumps can be itchy but are usually harmless and clear up by themselves within a couple of days. However, if you’re travelling in an area with a risk of insect borne disease, insect bites and stings could result in diseases such as malaria, Lyme disease or even the zika virus.
How will this product protect me from insect bites and stings naturally?
Care Insect Repellent Spray contains the active ingredient Citriodiol, which is made from natural lemon-eucalyptus extracts. It keeps mosquitos and other biting insects away for up to 6 hours, working as an effective way to prevent insect bites and stings.
How to use Care Insect Repellent Spray.
Apply Care Insect Repellent Spray to all exposed skin, making sure that any untreated skin is covered by clothing. Spray the area you wish to protect with Care Insect Repellent Spray and then rub in with hands to ensure even coverage. To protect the face, spray a small amount into the hands and apply to the face with your hands. Wash hands after use and then use Care Insect Repellent Spray on the backs of your hands to protect them too.
When should Care Insect Repellent Spray not be used?
Do not use Care Insect Repellent Spray on children under the age of 3 months. For external use only, avoid contact with eyes and mouth. When using this product on children, avoid covering areas which could easily come into contact with the eyes or mouth, such as hands or lower arms. Do not use Care Insect Repellent Spray if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.
