Preparation H Gel works to soothe areas of skin affected by piles. It contains the natural active ingredient Hamamelis water, which is more commonly known as witch hazel. Witch hazel is well known and widely used for it’s cooling and soothing properties.
Can I use this product if I’m using other medication?

How to use Preparation H Gel
Apply Preparation H Gel freely to the affected area after every bowel movement. Also, be sure to apply Preparation H Gel when you are feeling any dryness or itching in areas affected by piles or haemorrhoids.
When should Preparation H Gel not be used?
Preparation H Gel is not suitable for use by children under the age of 12. Do not use this product if you are allergic to witch hazel or any of the other listed ingredients. Do not swallow this gel, if you accidentally swallow this product seek medical advice. Speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using Preparation H Gel if you are not sure whether your bleeding is being caused by piles, or you are suffering from excessive bleeding.
Are there any side effects?
Like all medications, Preparation H gel can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. These include symptoms of allergic reaction. How to store this product
Store in a cool, dry place which is below 25 degrees C. Store in original packaging, do not use if expiration date printed on packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
