What are Pregnacare New Mum tablets?

Pregnacare New Mum tablets are a daily multivitamin specially designed to support new mums. They’re perfect for that first stage of life after childbirth, helping to support your energy levels so you can enjoy your little one’s first days to the full. These tablets are free from artificial colours and preservatives and contain no yeast or lactose. These tablets have not been tested on animals.

 

Which nutrients are in these tablets?

Pregnacare New Mum’s unique formula contains a range of vitamins and minerals chosen to support new mothers. Each dose of 2 tablets includes:

  • Vitamin D – 10µg
  • Vitamin E – 40mg α-TE
  • Vitamin C – 80mg
  • Thiamin (Vit B1) – 8mg
  • Riboflavin (Vit B2) – 4mg
  • Niacin (Vit B3) – 18mg NE
  • Vitamin B6 – 8mg
  • Folic Acid – 400µg
  • Vitamin B12 – 20µg
  • Biotin – 150µg
  • Iron – 14mg
  • Zinc – 15mg
  • Selenium – 100µg

How will these tablets support me after pregnancy?

Pregnacare New Mum tablets contain a range of B vitamins and iron, which all work together to support energy release in your body. This helps to ease the fatigue and tiredness that many new mums experience. They also contain zinc and selenium, which supports the maintenance of normal hair, and biotin, Vitamin B3, and Vitamin C which contribute to the health of your skin.

 

Can I take these tablets if I’m breastfeeding?

Pregnacare New Mum tablets can be used throughout breastfeeding with no problems. However, if you are breastfeeding, speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before taking this product to be sure that this is the best option for both you and your baby.

 

Can I take these tablets at the same time as other medication?

You can usually take Pregnacare New Mum tablets at the same time as other medication. However, some medications can interact when taken together, causing unwanted effects, so make sure to speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before taking this product if you are taking other medication.

 

How to take Pregnacare New Mum tablets

Take 2 Pregnacare New Mum tablets every day with your main meal. For best results, swallow with a sip of water or another cool drink. Do not take more than the recommended daily dose.

 

When should Pregnacare New Mum tablets not be used?

Do not use Pregnacare New Mum tablets if you are allergic to fish, soya, or any of the other listed ingredients. Food supplements should not be used in place of a balanced diet or healthy lifestyle. Speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before taking this product if you are pregnant, taking other medication, or have an underlying medical condition.

 

Does this product have side effects?

There are no known side effects of these tablets if you take them correctly, as recommended by the manufacturer. However, if you do experience any side effects while taking this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist right away. How to store this product

Store in a cool, dry place that is below 25 degrees C. Store in original packaging and do not use if expiry date printed on the packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
