Lyclear Sensitive is a gentle and effective solution that works to eliminate head lice. The sensitive formula is designed to get rid of lice whilst respecting the sensitivity of the scalp and skin. 

The dermatologically-tested formula contains no essential oils and washes out easily. 

How Lyclear Sensitive works

Lyclear Sensitive contains the active ingredient oxyphthirine. Oxyphthirine works by suffocating and dehydrating head lice. It also works by penetrating lice eggs, stopping them from growing. 

Directions

Always use Lyclear Sensitive exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. 

Shake the bottle before use. Apply the product all over dry hair ensuring that the scalp is fully covered and the hair is saturated. Pay attention to the neck and behind the ears. Massage well from roots to tips. Leave the product on the hair overnight or for a minimum of 8 hours.

Repeat the treatment after 7 days if necessary. 

Side effects

Lyclear Sensitive may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. The most common side effect is skin irritation. 

If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. 

Warnings

Lyclear Sensitive may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Do not apply this product to broken skin. Avoid spraying it into the eyes and face and do not breathe in the spray. 

This product is flammable. Do not go near naked flames or other ignition sources when using it.

Age restrictions 

This product is suitable for children aged 6 months and above.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before using any new products. 

Storage information

Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
