What is Jungle Formula Maximum?

Jungle Formula Maximum is an insect repellent which is ideal for those travelling to tropical destinations or anywhere that has a risk of insect borne diseases. It works hard to keep you safe from insect bites and stings for up to 3 hours maximum protection.

What happens when you get an insect bite?

When you have an insect bite or sting they are usually harmless and will heal in a couple of hours up to a couple of days. They look like a small red lump on the skin and may be itchy or painful. Normally, insect bites and stings are nothing more than an inconvenience, but in places where there is a risk of insect borne disease, bites and stings could transfer dangerous diseases such as malaria and zika virus.

How does this product keep me safe from insect bites and stings?

Jungle Formula Maximum contains 50% DEET, which is a World Health Organisation (WHO) approved insect repellent. This high amount of DEET makes Jungle Formula Maximum ideal for those who are travelling to tropical areas which have a high risk of insect transmitted diseases such as malaria.

How to use Jungle Formula Maximum.

Apply Jungle Formula Maximum insect repellent to any bare skin that needs protection, making sure that any untreated skin is covered with clothing. Do not spray directly onto face and do not use at the same time as sunscreen or other skin care products. Do not use more than once a day, however you should be sure to reapply after any activity which could reduce the effectiveness of Jungle Formula Maximum, such as swimming or bathing. When you have returned indoors, remove Jungle Formula Maximum with soap and water.

When should Jungle Formula Maximum not be used?

Jungle Formula Maximum is not suitable for use on children under the age of 12. This product is for external use only, avoid contact with eyes and mouth. Avoid getting Jungle Formula Maximum into contact with food, plastics, or lacquered surfaces.
