Iglu Sugar-Free Mouth Pain Relief - 24 Pastilles are designed to ease discomfort and provide a soothing relief when it comes to mouth ulcers and sore gums. 

 

How Iglu Sugar-Free Mouth Pain Relief - 24 Pastilles works

Iglu Sugar-Free Mouth Pain Relief - 24 pastilles contain two active ingredients: benzalkonium chloride solution and compound benzoin tincture. 

Both of the active ingredients have antiseptic properties. The antiseptic properties help to reduce inflammation and speed up the healing process. 

The pastilles dissolve slowly in your mouth, delivering the ingredients directly to the source of your discomfort. 

 

Directions

Always use Iglu Sugar-Free Mouth Pain Relief - 24 Pastilles exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. 

Allow 1 pastille to dissolve in your mouth every 2 hours. 

Do not take more than 8 pastilles in 24 hours. 

 

Side effects

Iglu Sugar-Free Mouth Pain Relief - 24 Pastilles may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. This product is not known to cause any side effects. 

If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

 

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. 

 

Warnings

Iglu Sugar-Free Mouth Pain Relief - 24 Pastilles may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not consume these pastilles if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

 

This product contains a small amount of a sugar substitute called sorbitol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to this ingredient, please seek medical advice before consuming this product. 

 

Using/taking other medicines

If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before consuming this product. 

 

Age restrictions 

This product is not suitable for children under 3 years old. 

 

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before you try any new medicine. 

 

Storage information

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.

Odd, but not at all unpleasant, taste. They really soothe my mouth ulcers, and have the added advantage of keeping my mouth moist. (I suffer from Burning Mouth Syndrome and a dry mouth makes it worse.)
