What is Compeed Callus Medium Plasters?
Compeed Callus Medium Plasters contain hydrocolloid active gel technology which relieves pain immediately and helps to remove the callus. Not only can it stay in place for days, but it also provides optimum cushioning from rubbing and pressure. This product contains 6 medium-sized plasters.
How to use this product
Always use Compeed Callus Medium Plasters exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. First start by softening the skin by soaking feet in warm water and remove any hardened skin with a towel. Clean and dry skin.
Remove the top paper, then the bottom paper, avoiding touching the adhesive side. Apply plaster firmly over the callus. Leave the plaster in place until it starts to detach. It may stay in place for up to several days. Repeat treatment until skin has completely healed.
What is a callus?
Calluses appear in patches, and are simply a buildup of hard, thick skin usually apparent on the feet, hands or fingers. Calluses occur when the skin tries to protect itself against friction or pressure. For example, you might have calluses on your fingers if you’re a musician or on your feet if you wear ill-fitting shoes, have sweaty feet, or stand for long periods.
