Buy Ultra Chloraseptic Anaesthetic Throat Spray Blackcurrant

Ultra Chloraseptic Anaesthetic Throat Spray Blackcurrant is designed to relieve the pain associated with a sore throat.

How Chloraseptic Anaesthetic Throat Spray Blackcurrant works

Chloraseptic Anaesthetic Throat Spray Blackcurrant contains the active ingredient benzocaine. Benzocaine belongs to a group of medicines known as local anaesthetics. It works by numbing the pain of a sore throat.

Directions

Always use Chloraseptic Anaesthetic Throat Spray Blackcurrant exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you.

Remove the cap of the bottle and rotate the spray around until the nozzle extends beyond the bottle. If you are using a new bottle, activate the pump by spraying it three times.

When you are ready, open your mouth and point the nozzle towards the back of your throat. Hold your breath and then press the pump to spray.

Adults:

Hold your breath and spray 3 times at the back of your throat. Repeat every 2-3 hours if required. Do not use the spray more than 8 times a day.

Children 6-12 years old:

Hold your breath and spray once at the back of your throat. Repeat every 2-3 hours if required. Do not use the spray more than 8 times a day.

Do not use the spray for more than 3 days in a row.

You will experience a temporary numbness in your throat after you have used the spray. Avoid eating and drinking until the numbness wears off.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Ultra Chloraseptic Anaesthetic Throat Spray Blackcurrant may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody.

Methaemoglobinaemia (a very rare blood condition) has been reported with benzocaine use.

If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
