What are Canesflor Probiotics?

Canesflor Probiotics work to maintain the delicate balance of microorganisms that live inside your vagina. This helps to keep the environment if your intimate area healthy, providing natural protection from vaginal infections such as thrush.

What is thrush (also known as a yeast infection)?

Thrush, or yeast infections, are a common infection that affects both men and women. In women, thrush has some easily recognisable symptoms, including:

  • White discharge, similar to cottage cheese
  • Itching
  • Irritation around your vagina
  • Stinging sensation during sex or when you use the toilet.

When treated properly, thrush can clear up within a week and will not occur often. However, some women may find that they get thrush regularly, sometimes more than twice in six months. Thrush can be caused by a number of different factors, including hormonal changes from pregnancy, as well as wearing tight clothing or using certain types of soap.

How do Canesflor Probiotics work to prevent thrush or yeast infections?

Canesflor Probiotic capsules contain Lactobacillus Plantarum P 17630, which is a unique probiotic strain which can help to protect against thrush or yeast infections. It prevents the growth of harmful microorganisms in your vagina, creating a protective barrier which helps to prevent thrush.

How to use Canesflor Probiotics?

Lie on your back and insert one Canesflor Probiotic capsule into the vagina. Do this in the evening, before you go to sleep. If you are struggling to insert the Canesflor Probiotic capsule, you can moisten it slightly to help insertion. Use one capsule for the first 6 days of treatment, then use one capsule every week for 4 weeks.

When should Canesflor Probiotics not be used?

Canesflor probiotics are for vaginal use only and should not be swallowed.
