What is Aquamax Moisturising Wash?
Aquamax Moisturising Wash is a non-foaming body wash which is designed for those with dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. It cleans, protects, and hydrates the skin, while remaining free from soap, detergents such as SLS, fragrance, and lanolin.
Who is this product suitable for?
It is suitable for adults and children, and even babies who suffer with dry skin conditions such as eczema. It’s perfect for those who find that regular soaps or shower gels aggravate their dry skin, helping you to keep clean without irritating your skin condition further.
How will this emollient wash help to soothe my dry skin?
Aquamax Wash works as an emollient, which means that the ingredients in this product form a protective barrier over your skin. This barrier protects your skin from irritants, such as detergents, while providing hydration which helps to keep your skin from drying out.
Can this wash be used with other emollients?
Aquamax Wash can be used with other emollient products with no problems. The products work together to keep the barrier over your skin in place, protecting your skin from irritants.
Can Aquamax Wash be used if pregnant or breastfeeding?
There is no reason why Aquamax wash would not be suitable to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, you should always speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this or any other new product at this time. This will help you to be sure that your medication is safe for you and your baby.
Can I use this emollient if I’m using any other medication?
If you’re taking any other medication, including those obtained without a prescription and those used on the skin, speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this product. Some medications can interact when used together, causing unwanted side effects or making your medication less effective. A medical professional can help you to avoid this.
How do I use this product?
You use it as you would any shower gel, rub onto the skin when bathing or showering and then rinse away. When you’re finished cleaning yourself, pat your skin dry with a clean, soft towel. Avoid rubbing your skin, as this product will have formed a protective layer over your skin which could be removed by rubbing.
