What is Alpecin Tuning Shampoo?
This Alpecin shampoo is designed to help treat hair that is losing its colour. As you age, the hair follicles begin to lose their colour. This is because the pigment that is responsible for hair colour, melanin, can no longer be produced. As a result, this causes grey or white hair. This Alpecin Tuning Shampoo will reinforce the hair and help the hair appear darker and have colour. This shampoo also contains caffeine which helps to strengthen the hair and protect against hair loss.
Who is this shampoo suitable for?
This Alpecin shampoo is intended for men who are losing colour in the hair and want an easy method of protecting the hair, both in colour and strength. Is should not be used by anyone who is allergic or sensitive to caffeine or any of the other ingredients contained in the shampoo.
Can this shampoo be used by women?
There’s nothing to suggest that Alpecin shampoo cannot be used by women. However, it is recommended that women use Plantur 39 instead. Like Alpecin, its active ingredient is caffeine and helps to strengthen and protect the hair.
Can children use Alpecin?
It should be ok for children to use Alpecin like a regular shampoo. However, if they have hair loss problems then that will most likely be the sign of a serious condition and you should go and see a doctor immediately.
How should this Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo be used?
It should be applied during like a normal shampoo when showering and left on for at least 2 minutes. It can be left on for longer, as that will allow for more caffeine to enter the scalp. Though this is not recommended for anyone with a sensitivity to caffeine.
Are there any side effects?
Leaving the shampoo on for too long can result in temporary redness in the scalp. If you notice any side effect that persists long-term, contact your doctor as soon as possible.
