How does Benefiber treat constipation?
Benefiber contains soluble fiber which works to make your stools softer and bigger and therefore easier to push out.
If you suffer from constipation, remember to drink plenty of fluids and keep active to help relieve your symptoms. If you suffer from long term constipation (3 weeks or longer) or if you notice blood in your stool, consult your GP.
The powder is made from 100% natural prebiotic fiber and can easily be dissolved in your favourite drink, hot beverage or soft foods like yogurt or soup.
The powder is completely taste-free and non-thickening, making it an easy to use source of fiber. It is also free from sugar, sodium and gluten.
In addition, the prebiotic fiber in Benefiber helps encourage the growth of good bacteria in your gut.
How do I take this product?
The recommended dose is 2 teaspoons, up to 3 times per day. We suggest adding 2 teaspoons to your breakfast, lunch and evening meal.
To add the powder to hot or cold drinks, simply stir until dissolved. The powder should be mixed with at least 120 - 240 ml of fluid.
When adding to food, soft or saucy foods like yogurt, soups or mash are recommended.
What you should keep in mind when taking Benefiber
Benefiber is not a replacement for a healthy, varied and balanced diet. It should only be used as a supplement to add additional fiber to your diet.
The powder does not blend well with fizzy or carbonated drinks. For best results, only mix with still drinks and beverages (hot or cold) and soft foods.
To increase your fiber intake, try adding various high fiber foods to your diet, such as whole wheat bread or cereal, skin on potatoes, pulses and beans, vegetables and fresh fruit.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your midwife or doctor for advice before taking this product.
This product is recommended for adults and children above the age of 6. For children, use half the recommended dose (1 teaspoon) up to 3 times per day.
Keep this product out of reach of children and use within 6 months of opening. To prevent moisture from getting to the powder, always ensure the lid is sealed properly after use.

Don’t you just hate blockages? Whether it is in the nose and you struggle to breathe through it and smell, or whether it is a traffic jam caused by an accident that leaves you stuck on the road, they are a pain.
The same can be said about constipation, a simple blockage in the digestive system that can cause a lot of problems. To find the solution to constipation, first, you need to know the cause.
