What is Balneum Cream?

Balenum Cream is a treatment for eczema and other dry skin conditions, such as dermatitis. It helps to soothe and protect your skin, helping it to keep moisture locked in and hydrating your skin from the inside. If you’re looking for an eczema treatment that will help to keep your skin feeling soft and smooth, Balneum Cream could be the perfect treatment for you.

What is eczema?

Eczema is a dry skin condition that can affect people of all ages. Eczema can happen in smaller patches, or larger areas across the body, causing a lot of discomfort when it flares up. When you have an eczema flare-up, the most common symptoms you’ll notice are:

  • Dry skin
  • Red skin
  • Inflammation or swelling
  • Itching
  • Cracked skin

How will Balneum Cream treat my eczema?

Balneum Cream contains 2 active ingredients which work together to soothe your eczema. The first is Urea 5%, which is a natural substance found in your skin. Urea helps to keep moisture locked into the skin, hydrating it from the inside out. The second ingredient is ceramide, which is a type of fatty acid. Ceramides help to strengthen and moisturise your skin, perfect for times when eczema is making your skin feel dry and cracked.

What’s the difference between Balneum Cream and Balneum Plus Cream?

Balneum Cream and Balneum Plus Cream have slightly different ingredients, and you may find that one is more suitable for your skin than the other. While Balneum Cream contains urea and ceramide, Balnea Cream Plus contains urea and lauromacrogols, which help to ease itching and irritation in your skin, helping you to break the itch-scratch cycle that many eczema sufferers fall into.
